The NEO A&M College Music Department invites all music students, regardless of major, to audition for scholarships. Awards are based on the individual's performance ability and financial need.

Questions & Answers
- Will an accompanist be provided?
No. You will have to bring your own, bring a track, or sing acapella.
- Will there be practice room to warm-up before my audition?
Yes, there will be warm-up rooms available. however. you will need to plan ample time before your audition time in order to use them.
- Will I need to bring copies of my music?
Yes. Please provide three copies of your music for faculty members during the audition.
- What can I expect for a vocal audition?
Concert Choir:
- Vocal range test
- A song that show cases your abilities
Chamber Singers:
- Vocal range test
- Sight-singing
- Tonal memory
- A song that showcases your abilities
- What can I expect for an instrumental audition?
Please prepare a short piece that shows your basic abilities on the instrument. It can be a district try-out or an etude or even a song that was played in school. We will be listening for tone quality, articulation, and accuracy. It should be more than a few minutes in length.
