- Can I bring family and friends to my campus tour?
Yes, you can!
- Do I need to arrive early for my campus visit?
We recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes before the start of your tour.
- Where will my campus tour begin?
Your campus tour will start in the Student Recruitment office, located in Copen Hall, Room 105. You will find a personalized parking spot for you and your family to park in.
- Will I receive any information prior to my campus visit?
Yes! You will receive an email and text confirming your scheduled visit. Our Student Recruitment office will contact you a day in advance to confirm your appointment and to answer any questions you might have.
- How long does a tour last?
Usually a general tour will take about an hour. If you are speaking to someone about your degree choice, or a coach it may take closer to 2 hours.
- What happens if the weather is bad?
Tours will be canceled if there is lightning, heavy rain, tornado watches/warnings, or snow/ice. Tours may still proceed in light to moderate rain, but we strongly encourage them not to. If there is rain in the forecast, we recommend that students bring their own umbrellas. If you are traveling from out of town and the weather is not improving in Miami, we will attempt to contact you with enough time before you arrive to cancel your tour.
